Now that's a great way to illustrate fortune - I used to love playing with those when I was a child!

What a great take on "fortune"! Beautifully illustrated. The color, the white space, everything.

First I like your I spy and green entries a lot...very graphic...this weeks reminds me of one of these a senior girl in the class made for me...and under every panel was a comment like "nice sweater"...and "looking good in that sweater"...and my favorite "great sweater, really"...of course it was pure sarcasm since they made fun of it the entire day...

Aenea of the moon,

I remember playing with these fortune tellers when I was a child.

Not beautiful ones like this, we just scribbled on note paper (with the lines on it) and folded it up. I think I can remember to this day how to fold it.

Thanks so much for your comments to my blogs.

Oh this is soo cool! I love that you thought to use this (what seems to be) universal child's play to illustrate "fortune". And you've done it beautifully! I think you may be picked for Illustration of the Week for this! I just love it!

This is great design. I never would have thought of drawing one of these for fortune, but it is perfect. Love the colors, and simple graphic shapes of your last two posts!

We used to make these and call them "cootie catchers" - when they served that function. Brilliant idea! Beautiful illustration. Well done!
